The visible ghost is the kind of ghost that you could see as an apparition like a person or animal. The invisible ghost is a spirit or entity that you cannot physically see but only sense. Both types of ghosts are considered dead, yet different from one another; they can be either good or bad, depending on what kind of behavior they followed before their death and whether or not their actions were forgiven by those whom they left behind. While there are ancient tales of ordinary people who would be out at night and come into contact with ghosts or spirits, it is also true that modern societies have large numbers of people who believe that they have seen ghosts or ancestral spirits.
